Operations Manager - HydroDemo
Specific Role Responsibilities:
- Support the branch manager in managing the safety, profitability and branch performance
- Support objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy.
- Plan, staff, and supervise all branch activities including personnel administration, performance, defining functions, responsibilities, etc as dictated by the manager
- Maintain positive financial posture for the division and monitor cost activities on routine basis.
- Collaborates with Branch leadership and staff to identify potential projects (customers), and gain admittance to bidder's list and execute the project as needed. Develop budgets, schedules and plans for the project elements
- Proven ability to perform in a management / leadership capacity in a matrixed organization
- Prepare time, cost, equipment and labor estimates for projects.
- Maintain an effective maintenance and safety initiatives with the Branch manager.
- Based on location, could manage at least 2 sales staff
- Based on location, could dispatch as needed.
- Assume additional responsibilities as required by the branch’s operating needs or as directed by corporate policy and procedures
Travel:
- 20%
- Experience with managing a 5 or more employees
- Exposure to overall P/L responsibility or cost management
- 4 year technical or business administration degree and/or equivalent extensive experience in the construction (services) or related industry
- Performed small to medium size projects with crew
- Proven experience in customer relationship management with private sector and public sector customers/clients
- Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- English – proficient in business writing and verbal communication
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record required when duties require use of motor vehicle
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random screening for illegal substances
