Job Description

Summary/Objective 

Provide overall labor relations partnerships with union trusts and manages the monthly remittance process. Additionally, provides administrative support to the General Counsel.

Essential Functions

  • Managing and administering the monthly union remittance process
  • Actively partake union audits on behalf of the company
  • Manages the library of collective bargaining agreements as well as renewals, MOUs and other union related documentation
  • Liaison with the union trusts funds concerning fringe discrepancies or questions
  • Analyzes labor and fringe benefits costs for business planning
  • Compiles wages and working conditions for all current and proposed projects.
  • Makes surveys of manpower availability by crafts; assists in recruitment efforts when shortages develop.
  • Inventories all collective bargaining agreements and tracks renewals.
  • Coordinates and verifies company labor policies with other contractors working.
  • Assist in investigations of individual labor disputes that may arise.
  • Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
  • Maintain the Master Real Estate Schedule and process payment requests through Accounts Payable
  • Assist the General Counsel as directed – assist with calendar, deadlines, and completion of tasks
  • Maintain contractual records and documentation
  • Execution of leases, subleases and amendments – once executed, need to be returned to landlord, and the lease spreadsheet updated.
  • Monitor transaction compliance and deadlines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities, but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.

Travel

Little to no travel is expected for this position.

Job Requirements

  • Experience with corporate record and research
  • Ability to review, interpret and organize data and information
  • English – proficient in business writing and oral communication
  • Understand financial terms and basic financial instruments (bonds; guarantees; payment security)
  • Computer/Office Machines – Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random screening for illegal substances
